Railway services in Spain have started the day on 30 April as normal, having almost completely recovered from the blackout on Monday 28th.
According to reports from Renfe, the operators, Adif and the regional and local transport authorities, trains are running as usual, although the state-owned public operator indicates that traffic will gradually return to normal throughout the day.
In addition, normal incidents and delays are occurring in the daily operation.
The blackout is still noticeable at some stations where the Passenger Information Systems (PIS) or self-service machines and other elements are not working due to the damage.
As a result of the power cut, all rail services were disrupted on Monday 28, with thousands of people trapped on trains stuck in the middle of nowhere.
Yesterday services were gradually resumed and those who could not travel the previous day were brought to their destination, with Renfe carrying passengers from other operators with less capacity.
