The Madrid metro continues to reap success in terms of user satisfaction, maintaining a score of 8 out of 10 in the Service Quality Perception Survey for the fourth quarter of 2024.
This result, which has been maintained since the second quarter of 2023, represents one of the best valuations in the company’s history.
The survey was carried out on more than 16,000 passengers at 94 stations, revealing that foreign tourists are the most satisfied, giving a score of 8.78. The aspects most valued by users are the speed of the journey, the cleanliness of the stations and the waiting time on the platform.
Jorge Rodrigo, Regional Counselor for Housing, Transport and Infrastructures, highlighted the consolidation of this high rating. The study also shows that almost 70% of the participants are satisfied with the quality of the service, rating it between 8 and 10 points.
The Global Perceived Quality Index reached 8.13 points, with train and station lighting and signalling being the most highly rated aspects. Metro de Madrid considers that these figures reflect the company’s continued success in meeting the expectations of its users and maintaining a high standard of service.
